Why start an instant telehealth session
The "Last-Minute Swap": If a patient was scheduled for an In-Person visit but calls to say they can't make the drive, you can flip to a secure video session immediately.
Accidental Disconnects: If you accidentally press "End Call" use this to get back into the room instantly.
Urgent Check-ins: Use this for unscheduled consultations that occur outside of your standard calendar blocks.
How to Start Instant Telehealth Session
Navigate to the Patient Dashboard.
In the top heading, click the Instant Meeting button and select Telehealth.
Automatic Delivery: Allia instantly sends the meeting link to the patient via email and as a notification in their app. You can also copy and paste the URL from the meeting screen to send it to the patient manually via secure message or text if they are having trouble accessing their email.
