Your First Steps in Allia

Get your practice ready for patients

Updated over 2 months ago

To get the most out of Allia from day one, we recommend setting up your core tools in the order below.

Log in to the web dashboard to begin: app.allia.health

Calendar and Integration

Connect Google Calendar Navigate to Calendar Setup > Calendar to link your account. Ensure you grant Allia permission to access your data; this allows the system to sync your personal events and prevent double-booking.

Self-Scheduling Under the Availability tab, set the specific days and times you want clients to be able to book themselves. These slots will be visible to patients via the Allia mobile app.

  • Note: If you do not want clients to self-schedule, toggle your availability to "Off."

Form Templates and Intake

Manage Templates Go to Management > Manage Form Templates to organize your intake process.

  • Upload PDFs: Upload practice policies or informational files. You can set these as View-only or Sign if a digital signature is required.

  • Dynamic Forms: Build fillable forms for medical history or emergency contacts. Mark critical questions as "Required" to ensure you receive necessary data before the first session.

Financial Setup

Invoicing (Cash/Copay) Link your Stripe account in Billing Settings. Allia does not charge additional platform fees; you only pay the standard Stripe transaction fee. Once linked, you can send invoices directly to the client’s app for payment.

Insurance Enrollments If you are paneled, visit the Enrollments tab. Select your payers (e.g., Aetna, BCBS) and complete the setup for the Steady clearinghouse. Your status will show as "Pending" until approved.

e-Prescribing (Medical Clinicians Only)

Medical clinicians can enable digital prescription tools directly within the platform.

  • Identity Verification: Complete the identity verification flow to begin.

  • Setup: Follow this link to start your e-prescribing registration.
