Your First Steps in Allia

Updated over 3 weeks ago

To get the most out of Allia from day one, we recommend setting up a few key items.

Here’s the best order to begin:

  1. Set up your calendar

Connect and customize your schedule to start managing appointments effortlessly.

  2. Create your forms in the Management tab

Go to Manage Form Templates to create all the forms you need—intake forms, consent forms, or any other custom forms you use in your practice.

  3. Choose the type of form you want to create

Each form can be set as one of the following:

    • View-only – if you want the patient to just read the information

    • Sign – if you need the patient’s digital signature

    • Fill – if you want the patient to answer questions or provide information.

You can also mark some forms as default for onboarding

  4. Patients will see all assigned forms in their app

Once the patient downloads the app, they’ll find all forms assigned to them—whether they need to view, sign, or fill them—directly in their forms list, sent by their clinician.

    You’re all set!

Once you’ve completed these steps, your workspace is ready — you can start scheduling, messaging, and managing your patients confidently.

As you continue, we’ll walk you through other features — like Messages, Appointments, Billing, and Client Records — so you can explore Allia at your own pace.

🌿 Allia grows with your practice — start simple, expand as you go.
