The Calendar Setup page helps you connect your calendar, set your available hours, add holidays, and configure your scheduling rules.
When you first open Calendar Setup, everything is disabled until you add a calendar.
Click Add New Calendar and you’ll be prompted to connect your Google Calendar. After you sign in, the connected email will appear on the page to confirm the setup.
The Calendar Setup page has three tabs:
1. Calendar Tab
This tab lets you define your core scheduling rules.
Time Zone
Choose your preferred time zone from the dropdown.
Slot Size
Set how long each appointment should be.
Booking Period
Decide how far in advance patients can book.
Scheduling Cutoff
Set the latest time before an appointment that a patient can still schedule.
Service Locations
Add one or more in-person locations for onsite visits.
Buffer Time
Add time between sessions to avoid back-to-back appointments.
Reschedule Policy
Choose how many times an appointment can be rescheduled and set the minimum notice required.
Time Format
Choose between a 12-hour or 24-hour clock. Any edits you make enable the Save Changes button so you can apply updates right away.
2. Availability Tab
This tab lets you define when you’re available for patient bookings.
• Toggle each weekday on or off
• Set your start and end times
• Mark each slot as telehealth, on-site, or both
• Add date-specific hours when you need to override your usual schedule, such as shorter days during holiday weeks
• Any time slot that already has a booking on your connected Google Calendar will not be available for patients to book
3. Holidays Tab
This tab syncs national holidays for your selected country so you can automatically exclude them from your availability.
You can choose between the United States or the United Kingdom and toggle which holidays you observe. Any holidays you select will automatically show up in your calendar availability.
