Converting from a Solo Provider to a Group Practice

Step-by-step instructions on moving from a Solo Provider to a Group Practice account on Allia Health.

Congratulations on growing your practice! Transitioning from a Solo Provider account to a Group Practice on Allia is a quick process that unlocks team management and collaborative tools.

Follow these steps to make the switch:

1. Access Your Account

First, log in to your existing Solo Provider account here: app.allia.health/auth/sign-in.

2. Initiate the Transition

Once you have logged in, head to the top right-hand corner of your dashboard. Select the option + Add new group practice. This will launch the setup wizard.

3. Complete the Setup Prompts

Follow the on-screen prompts and answer the series of questions to build your practice profile.

  • Practice Details: You will be asked for your practice name and basic information.

  • Pricing & Scale: Allia is free for group practices with under 20 clinicians.

For clinics with 20+ clinicians, we provide custom support through our Enterprise Plan. Please get in touch with our team if you have more than 20 clinicians so we can provide dedicated data transfer and setup support.

4. Configure Billing

After entering your practice details, you will be asked to select your preferred Billing Type.

  • Note: This setting is specifically for handling Cash Payments and Co-pays.

  • Please note that this is not for insurance payments at this time.

5. You're All Set

Once your practice is created, you’ll see a few welcome screens to click through. Your next step is to invite your staff:

  • You can add team members immediately or choose to do this later.

  • Team members will receive an email invitation that they must accept to join the practice.

6. Toggle Between Views

You can easily toggle between your Group Practice view and your Solo Provider view at any time. Simply click the menu in the top right-hand corner to switch back and forth.


Helpful Tips

  • Check Spam Folders: If your team members haven't received their invite, ask them to check their junk or spam folders.

  • Support: If you are a large practice (20+ clinicians), our team is here to help with your data transfer and setup.
