Requesting e-Prescription Access

Updated over a week ago

To use e-prescribing in Allia, clinicians need to complete a one-time setup process. This step verifies your prescribing credentials and activates your connection with DrFirst.

Initial empty state

The first time you open the e-prescription section or the Medical Overview tab, you’ll see an empty state that prompts you to complete your registration.

At this point, e-prescribing isn’t active yet.

You can continue in either of the following ways:

• Complete the registration form directly in the app

• Email your details to team@allia.health

Information required

You’ll be asked to share the following details so we can register you with DrFirst:

Personal and practice information

• Practice name (optional)

• First name

• Last name

• Degree suffix

• NPI

• Email address

• Office name (optional)

• Office location

• State

• City

• Zip code

• Phone number

• Fax number (optional)

License information

You can add more than one license if needed.

• State

• License type

• License number

• DEA license number

• Whether you’ll prescribe controlled substances (Yes / No)

What happens next

Once we receive your information:

  1. The Allia team verifies your credentials

  2. We complete the DrFirst setup for you

  3. No additional action is required on your end

When everything is ready, e-prescribing will appear in your account automatically, and you’ll be able to view patient medication data in the Medical Overview tab.

Availability

E-prescribing is provided at no cost to prescribing clinicians.
