The Account Switching feature allows you to navigate seamlessly between different roles—such as an Individual Provider, a Group Practice Owner, or an invited member of another practice—all using the same email address. This eliminates the need for multiple logins and keeps your workflows organized in one place.
How to Switch Your View
Open the Switcher: Locate your profile icon or practice name in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
Select Your Destination: A dropdown menu will appear listing all accounts associated with your email.
Identify the Account Type: Accounts are clearly labeled to help you navigate:
Individual Practice: Your private, solo provider workspace.
Practice Name: Any Group Practices you own or have been invited to join.
Understanding Your Account Limits
To keep your data secure and properly categorized, Allia follows these structure rules for a single email address:
Individual Account: You may have one Solo Provider account.
Owned Group Practice: You may own one Group Practice account.
Invited Memberships: You can be a member of multiple other group practices if you have been invited.
Important: A Solo Provider account cannot be "converted" into a Group Practice. Instead, you simply create a new Group Practice from your dashboard and use the Switcher to move between the two. If you would like help with data transfer, please get in touch.
