Patients can request appointments through the Allia Health app or Allia Patient Portal when self-scheduling is turned on in your Availability settings.
How appointment requests work
Patients choose an available date, time, and visit type.
The request appears as a yellow block on your calendar.
You accept or decline the request from the calendar or its message in Messaging.
If you accept it, the block turns blue and Allia sends the patient a confirmation by email and push notification.
How Google Calendar affects availability
Allia checks your connected Google Calendar when showing available times. A Google Calendar event marked Busy hides that time from patient self-scheduling, even when your Allia availability is on.
Tip: You do not need to block the same time in both calendars.
