Viewing and Editing Patient Information

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Here’s what you can view and update within a patient’s details:

To get started, click any patient’s name in the sidebar to open their dashboard.

What you’ll see at the top

The top section includes:

• Display photo, name, email, and phone number
• App status (✅ App Downloaded or ⚠️ App Pending)
• Quick actions for scheduling a session or viewing more details

Viewing detailed information

Click View Details to open a structured view of the patient’s profile. This includes:

Personal Information
Gender, pronouns, date of birth, and other demographic details.

Address Information
Mailing and residential addresses.

Payment Information
Cash or insurance, payer name, and member ID.

If you update this section and set the patient to insurance, Allia automatically runs an eligibility check. You can view the results in the Billing tab.

Active and Secondary Diagnoses
We recommend assigning an active diagnosis. This helps keep your documentation and claims accurate, since the diagnosis is automatically pulled into your notes and billing.

Health Exchange Data Summary (read-only)
This shows the patient’s medical history based on records we fetch from the Health Exchange. It gives you helpful context that can support your clinical decisions.

You can edit all the information on here except Health Exchange data, diagnoses, and family history.
