Starting or continuing a conversation

  • Tap on a care team member to open the chat thread.

  • Messages are displayed in a familiar chat format.

  • You can send text messages at any time.

Sending attachments

From the chat screen, tap the “+” button to send:

  • Documents

  • Photos from your gallery

  • Images using your camera

Once sent, attachments are visible to your clinician and stored in the conversation history.

Message notifications

  • When you receive a new message, you’ll see:

    • An indicator dot on the Chat tab

    • An unread indicator on the conversation

  • Notifications may also be sent via push, email, or SMS (based on your permission settings).

Chat availability

  • Chat is designed for non-urgent communication.

  • Response times may vary depending on your care team’s availability.
