Allia allows you to securely save individual files from a patient's profile to your device.
How to download a record
Navigate to Patient Profile > Records.
Open: Click the Document Name to open the file in the secure viewer.
Download: Click the Download Icon (downward arrow) in the top toolbar.
Security & Permissions
Access: Downloading is restricted to users with Clinical Visibility (such as the providing clinician and supervisors).
Cleanup: Delete files from your "Downloads" folder after sharing to protect patient privacy.
Device Safety: Only download files to encrypted, password-protected computers.
Pro Tip: Whenever possible, use Secure Messaging to share records internally. This keeps sensitive data within Allia’s HIPAA-compliant system and avoids the need to download files to your local hard drive.
