Once your profile is ready, you can start an Enrollment. This "turns on the digital pipes" so you can send claims and receive payments through Allia.
The 3 Types of Enrollment
It is important to know what Allia handles versus what you handle:

Credentialing | Verifying your license and qualifications. | You (Directly with Payer) |
Payer Enrollment | Registering to be "In-Network." | You (Directly with Payer) |
Transaction Enrollment | Connecting Allia/Stedi to the payer system. | Allia & Stedi |
The Golden Rule: You must be credentialed and enrolled with the payer before we can enroll you for transactions. If the payer doesn't know you exist, they will reject our connection request.
Creating an Enrollment
Select the Payer: Search for the insurance company you want to enroll with (e.g., UnitedHealthcare).
Select the Profile: Choose the specific Billing Profile you created in Step 1.
Note: If you "wear two hats," make sure you pick the profile that matches your contract with that specific payer.
Submit: Click submit to send the request to Stedi.
Add CPT Codes & Rates
After you submit the enrollment, the system allows you to define your Contracted Rates. This tells Allia how much to expect for specific services so your billing stays accurate.
CPT Codes: Add the specific procedure codes you are contracted for (e.g., 90837 for a 60-minute therapy session).
Contracted Rates: Enter the dollar amount you agreed upon during your payer enrollment/contracting phase.
Tracking Your Status
DRAFT: You are still editing the request.
STEDI_ACTION_REQUIRED: Queued for processing.
PROVISIONING: We’ve sent the request; the payer is reviewing it (takes 2–6 weeks).
PROVIDER_ACTION_REQUIRED: The payer needs a signature or document from you.
LIVE ✅: You’re all set! You can start submitting claims.
REJECTED ❌: Something went wrong (usually a data mismatch).
