Accessing a Client’s Treatment Plan

To view or edit an existing treatment plan, start from the client’s profile:

  • Select the Client you’d like to work with

  • Navigate to Treatment Plans

  • Choose the Treatment Plan you want to review or update

This will open the most recent version of the treatment plan by default.

Editing a Treatment Plan

Once inside the treatment plan:

  • Select the specific section you’d like to modify

  • Click Edit to make changes

You can update goals, objectives, interventions, or any other section as needed to reflect changes in care.

Viewing Past Versions

After completing your edits:

  • Scroll to the top of the treatment plan

  • Click on Version

If multiple versions of the treatment plan exist, they will appear here in chronological order. This allows you to review past iterations without overwriting prior documentation.

Each version preserves the historical context of care, ensuring transparency and continuity.

💡 Best Practices for Clinicians

  • Preserve Clinical History: Use versioning instead of overwriting plans to maintain an accurate record of treatment evolution.

  • Edit Intentionally: Make updates only when there is a meaningful change in goals, diagnosis, or interventions.

  • Review Before Updating: Check prior versions to ensure new edits align with previous clinical decisions and documentation.

This versioning workflow helps you stay compliant while keeping treatment plans up to date and clinically relevant.
