Understanding Dashboard metrics

Learn what the clinical, engagement, treatment, and billing metrics on the Dashboard show.

Dashboard metrics help you review clinical activity, patient engagement, treatment trends, and financial performance.

Go to Home > Dashboard, then choose a category. The metrics you see depend on your data, account, and permissions.

Clinic Overview

This category can show:

  • Total Active Clients

  • Total Clinicians

  • Average Caseload / Clinician

  • Collected Revenue

Use the Collected Revenue chart to review revenue over time. Practice users with the right permissions can use Filter by Clinician.

Client Status & Demographics

  • Status Monitoring: Changes in New and Inactive patient counts over the selected period.

  • Coverage Distribution: Patients with Insurance or Private Pay.

  • Gender Distribution: Patients grouped by recorded gender.

  • Age Distribution: Patients grouped by age range.

Session Data

This category can show:

  • Average Sessions per Client

  • Average Session Duration

  • Average Clinical Hours Filled / Week

  • Total Session Hours

Use these metrics to review session frequency and clinical workload.

Client Engagement

This category can show:

  • Onboarding → First Meeting: Average time between onboarding and the first appointment.

  • Openings Forecast: Upcoming availability.

  • Average Visit Intervals Between Sessions: Average time between appointments.

  • Flourishing Scale Completions / Client

  • Onboarding Forms Completion

  • Assessment Completion

Diagnostic Treatment

This category can show:

  • Average Flourishing Scale at Intake: The average intake score.

  • Diagnosis Distribution of Active Clients: Diagnoses across active patients. Select See More when available.

  • Treatment Plan Stats: Patients with signed, unsigned, or no active treatment plan.

Medical Billing

This category can show:

  • Days: Service → Billing

  • Days: Billing → Payment

  • Total Revenue

  • Collected Revenue

  • Pending Revenue

  • Claim statuses such as Accepted, In Progress, and Denied/Rejected

  • Invoice statuses such as Paid and Unpaid

  • Network Payer Mix

Use the time-period controls when available. Revenue can be grouped by Insurance and Private Pay.

Filtering by clinician

In practice view, select Filter by Clinician to choose one or more clinicians. The Dashboard updates to show data for your selection.
