How Long We Keep Data
Clinical data: Kept according to your own retention policies and any legal requirements you must follow.
Account data: Maintained while clinician or patient accounts are active.
Billing records: Stored for 7 years, as required by financial regulations.
Audit logs: Retained for security and compliance. These logs don’t include clinical content.
Managing Patient Data Deletion
When a patient asks to delete their account:
• Their account information is removed within 30 days
• Clinical data is handled with you, since you’re the treating clinician
• Some information, like billing records or audit logs, may need to stay on file for compliance
• You remain responsible for following your local and professional record-retention rules
