Note Preferences & Templates

Clinicians can set up their note preferences to customize how AI-generated or default notes appear. This helps keep your notes consistent with your style and terminology.

Step 1: Access Note Preferences

In the Notes tab, click the Preferences button.

This opens the note preferences dialog, where you can adjust your settings.

Step 2: Choose a Note Template

  • Select the template you prefer for automatic notes, e.g., SOAP or BIRP.

  • This template will guide the structure of all AI-generated notes.

Step 3: Set Clinician & Client References

  • Define how you refer to yourself in notes: Clinician, Therapist, Counselor, Physician, Provider, Social Worker.

  • Define how you refer to clients: Client, Patient, or first name.

Step 4: Set Note Style

  • Choose the length of notes: Concise, Default, or Thorough.

  • Choose whether to include direct quotes from the session.

  • Choose the tone: Normal or More detailed.

Step 5: Save Preferences

  • Click Save.

  • All AI-generated or automatic notes will now follow these settings for consistency and clarity.
