Uploading External Records

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Why should you upload records?

Allia lets you store external documents, such as test results, assessment summaries, or referral letters, directly in a patient’s profile. This keeps everything in one secure place. If you’re moving to Allia from another EHR, uploading records is a simple way to bring your existing documentation into the platform.

How to upload records

  1. Open the patient’s dashboard.

  2. Click the Records tab.

  3. Select Upload Document.

  4. Choose the file or files from your computer.

  5. You can upload PDFs up to 50 MB each.

  6. You can select and upload multiple files at once.

  7. Click Submit to complete the upload.

Once uploaded, each document will appear in a table showing:

  • File name

  • Upload date

  • Delete icon (to remove the file anytime)

💬 You’ll also see a small toast notification confirming each successful upload.

Viewing and searching records

Click any record to open and view the document directly in Allia.

You can use the search bar to quickly find a record by its name.

Good to know

• You can upload multiple documents at once.
• Uploaded files stay in the patient’s profile until you delete them.
